MASS RADIOGRAPHY
FILM AGAIN AVAILABLE IN CHRISTCHURCH
After a wait of about two months and a half, the Department of Health m Christchurch again has film available for. mass X-ray investigations. This week groups of employees, numbering in all about 200 persons, are being X-rayed. With film available, the department intends to continue its anti-tuberculosis campaign in schools. A back-log of between 700 and 800 Mantoux positive reactors has to be dealt with, and the programme already arranged continued. Work in the schools will be resumed next week. The Medical Officer of Health (Dr. D. P. Kennedy) said yesterday that the department would be pleased to hear from any group wishing to take advantage of the mass X-ray facilities.
