CANTERBURY TEAM ANNOUNCED
MATCH WITH WANGANUI ON SATURDAY The Canterbury team to meet Wanganui on Saturday at Lancaster Park, will be without seven of Its regular players. J. Hotop, A. E. G. Elsom, R. H. Duff. P. Eastgate, and K. F. Meates will be playing for New Zealand in the second test match against Australia in Wellington, G. N. Dalzell is a reserve for this team, and K. C. Stuart will be playing for Marist in the Payne Trophy match with Pirates. The Canterbury team was announced last evening as follows: Backs.—D. Mayo; M. Dixon, G. McPherson. R. Smith; G. E. Johnson. D. D. Wilson; P. B. Vincent (vice-captain). Forwards.—N. Roberts, F. Hill. R. Stuart (captain), N. Teague, M. Kilworth, A. Coullng, D. Young, E. Reserves—Backs: M. Logan. J. Houghton, R. Averill. Forwards: R. Craw, C. Rhodes.
