PUBLIC FUNCTION FOR QUEEN MOTHER
(Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON. May 9. The Queen Mother will leave the seclusion she has kept since the death of her husband, King George VI, last February to bjd farewell on Tuesday to soldiers leaving Crail, in Fifeshire, for Korea. In the weeks of mourning the Queen Mother has visited several London churches. To avoid undue attention she has not visited the same church twice. With Queen Elizabeth and Princess Margaret she recently attended a musical party In a London home as the guest of Lord and Lady Eldon.
