SHIRLEY METHODIST CHURCH
The eighty-fourth anniversary of the Shirley Methodist Church was celebrated on Sunday. The Rev. W. S. Brettell, of St, Columba Presbyterian Church, was the guest speaker at the morning service, and the minister of the church (the Rev. R. E. Patchett) was the preacher at the evening service. Anthems were given by the choir, the soloist being Miss M Richards. Mrs R. E Coomber was the organist.
