FEDERAL HOUSE ADJOURNS
NEWS RECEIVED IN CANBERRA (Rec. 3 a.m) CANBERRA. Feb. «. First news of the Rings death waa received In the press gallery of Parliament Reuse. When the report was communicated to the Prime Minister (Mr Menzies), the House waa adjourned pending confirmation of the grievous news. At 9.49 pjn. the House reassembled awaiting the entrance of the Speaker with the official proclamation. The House adjourned after the Prime Minister had said he felt quite incaoable of expressing adequately his feelings on such a solemn occasion. The Leader of the Opposition (Dr. H. V. Evatt) spoke similarly, and the House adjourned until to-morrow.
