CALUTTA. December 28. The M.C.C. to-dav defeated Bengal by an Inninas and 20 runs. At one stage Bengal had lost seven wickets for 29. but the team managed to reach the total of 134. Chatterjee scored 59. Ridgway took four wickets for 43 and Shackleton three for 20.
