New Flying-Boat.—Tasman Empire Airways’ Solent flying-boat, Aparima, which is to serve on the company's new Samoa-Cook Islands-Tahiti service, is now expected to arrive at Auckland on Saturday. The aircraft, which is being flown from Britain, was delayed at San Francisco because of unfavourable weather. It arrived at Honolulu at 6.10 a.m. yesterday. It will leave there at 7.30 p.m. to-morrow and after a brief refuelling stop at Canton Island will fly to Fiji, where it is expected to arrive on Friday.—(P-A.)
