M.C.C. TEAM’S VISIT TO CEYLON
ONE FOUR-DAY MATCH ARRANGED
(Rec. 8 p.m.) COLOMBO. Sept. 1 The Ceylon Cricket Board announced to-day that the M.C.C. team, which would visit Ceylon In the second week of February after touring India and Pakistan, would play four matches, including one four-day game against a Commonwealth eleven in Ceylon. Their Majesties the King and Queen will be visiting Ceylon fnr one week on their way to Australia and New Zealand at the time of the fourday match. It is expected that they will watch the game.
The Commonwealth team will comprise two players each from India, Pakistan. Australia, and New Zealand, and three from Ceylon.
