EXPULSION FROM POLAND
BRITISH EMBASSY OFFICIAL
(Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 1. The Third Secretary of the British Embassy in Warsaw has been ordered to leave the country within three days, according to the Polish News Agency. The agency alleged that the Secretary (Mr L. H. Massey) had sent secret information through diplomatic channels.
1716 expulsion order followed the conviction of Brigadier-General Stanislaw Tatar, a former member of the Polish General Staff in London, on a charge of treason. The Polish Foreign Minister (Mr Stanislaw Skrzeszewski) said that Mr Massey was ordered to leave after his activities were disclosed at the General's trial.
