One Communist company-sized group ran into an Allied tank while attempting to infiltrate through a small valley. In # short and bloody engagement 65 Communists were killed and the rest withdrew.
South Korean troops continued their attacks in the Kansong area, seizing two hills against savage resistance, killing 232 Communists. Action on the central and western fronts was confined to patrol clashes.
