CANTERBURY AUTO CYCLE CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING HELD
A presentation was madb to Mr T. R. McCleary, organiser of the Cust Grand Prix, by the president of the Canterbury Auto Cycle Club (Mr C. Bell) at the annual general meeting of the club recently. Mr Bell commented on the outstanding work done by Mr McCleary over a number of years. In recognition of his work and interest in the Club, Mr Bell was elected a life member.
The following officers were elected:— president, Mr Bell; vice-presidents, Messrs R. E. Russell and P. Johnson; captain, Mr R. A. Brittan: vice-captain, Mr R. Harris; sports committee, Messrs G. Hughey. P Wittee, T. McCleary, jun., W. Birmingham, A. B. Batchelor, K. W. Swanson, P. Ralph, and E. Tolhurst.
