WOMEN’S TOURNEY OTAGO STILL UNBEATEN (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 30. Conditions were again ideal to-day for the continuation of the Dominion women’s hockey tournament. Otago is the only unbeaten team in the major A section for the K Cup, with Eastern and Auckland Town heading Section B. Eastern, however, has a game in hand.

In the minor section, Bush had its first defeat to-day, but is still a point ahead of Poverty Bay, which also has a game in hand. Ashbdrton is leading section B with three wins. Results were:—

K Cup.—Major A section: Auckland Country 1. Wellington A 0; Otago 2, Malvern 1; Rangitikel 1, Canterbury 0. Section B; Auckland Town 6. Wellington B 3; Eastern 9, Waikato C, Wairarapa, a bye. Minor.—Section A: Poverty Bay 3, Bush 1; South Canterbury 6, Manawatu 1; Nelson, a bye. Section B: Auckland 2, Hawke’s Bay 0; Ashburton 5, Wanganui 1.
