WAREHOUSE BROKEN INTO
SUITINGS WORTH £7OO STOLEN Bolts of suiting materials, valued at more than £7OO, were stolen when the premises of A. E. Gledhill and Company, Ltd., at 56 . Lichfield street, were broken into some time during Wednesday night. The loss was discovered yesterday morning. The sum of £65 in cash was also stolen from an unlocked box in the office.
An outside door was forced by the thieves to get in. Two other premises in the same building, those of Frank and Bryce, Ltd., thread and twine merchants, and the Chic Manufacturing Company, dress and mantle manufacturers, were also entered and apparently searched but the thieves gbt nothing for their efforts.
The police are making inquiries,
