, LONDON. August 29. The West 'lndian cricketers E. Weekes. F. Wwrrcll, and S. Ramadhin, performed well in a match today between a Commonwealth eleven and an English dieven at Kingston-on-Thames. The/Commonwealth side had much the better of the day* play dismissing ttye Englishmen for 189 and scoring 180 j for the loss of three wickets.
Ramadhin ' dismissed three English batsmen in *threo overs Weekes and Worrell tested brilliantly.
Scores were English <eleven—First innings 189 (Watkins 37 Ramadhin three for 29).
Common wealth eleven—First inings three for 180 (Weekes 67; Worrell not out 59).
