A Western Australian, Miss Afaxine Bishop, won the Australian women's golf title, beating Miss Pat BoJrthwick. of New South Wales, 2 up/ over 36 holes. / A big gallery followed /the match which was played in fipfe weather. The morning round / finished all square. In the afternoon Miss Borthwick gained a strong lead going to 2 up at the 25th. . However. Miss Bishon wiped off /the deficit in the next four holes at|d continued in top form to win. The Australian I women's team to play New Zealand \in the Tasman Cup golf matches is:—MX'ses B. Kemot. M. Bishon, P. Borthwick. J Percy. J. Fletcher, and J. Wefilard. Miss Kemot is manager and Miss Fletcher captain.
