CANTERBURY AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

The Canterbury amateur snooker championship is now in its final stages. The finalists are J. Munro (A.A.C.) and V. Choat (W.M.C.). The final win be played at the New Brightop R.S.A. Club this evening.

Both the finalists have had considerable experience in snooker championships. Choat won in 1939, and Munro in 1945. Munro also won the New Zealand amateur snooker championship in 1946.
