HOLLAND TO ATTEND
NO DECISION ON SIGNING (Rec. 7 p.m.) H HAGUE, August 27. Holland will participate in the San Francisco conference next month, but she will maintain her objections to the proposed draft treaty and will decide at e conference whether to sign. Holland’s objections to the treaty mainly concern reparations. She fears that the article under which all Dutch claims on the Japanese State arising from the war or the occupation are sam to have been met, may result in the Dutch judiciary making Holland responsible for claims by Dutch citizePB, .?^ e considers that the amount , a ® lde f° r compensation for former Allied prisoners of war too low, and considers that the treaty does not give sufficient protection to tunny fishing on the north coast of New Guinea.
