PAID OFFICIALS OF OLD WATERS’DERS
CONNEXION WITH LABOUR PARTY DENIED I - A*. (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 27. Paid officials of the deregistered Waterside Workers’ Union who are reported to be putting their resources behind the Labour Party are not in any way under the iurisdiction of the Labour Party. “At no time has any arrangement been made with the deregistered Waterside Workers' Union for speakers at meetings,” said Mr R. F. Barter. Auckland area organiser for the Labour Party, to-day.
