TABLE TENNIS
NORTH AND SOUTH ISLAND TEAMS CHOSEN * (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 4. The secretary of the New Zealand Table Tennis Association (Mr K.- C. Wilkinson) has announced the players to represent the North and South Islands in the annual North-South match at New Plymouth on July 14. The North Island team was selected by Mr A. S. Meachen, ! and the South Island by Mr S. A. Bremford. The teams are:— North Island.—R. A. Algie (Auckland), R. V. Jackson (Auckland), W. O. Jalne (Auckland), J. S. Crossley (Wellngton). Doubles: Algie and Crossley, Jackson and Jaine. South Island.—A. Kwok (Otago), V. N. Brightwell (Otago), N. M. Brown (Otago), W. J. Fogarty (Otago). Doubles: Kwok .and Fogarty, Brightwell and Brown.
