Music Teachers.— The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Christchurch Society of Registered Music Teachers: —patron, Mr E. Empson; president, Mr W. Foster Blacklock: vice-presidents, Mrs E. Empson and Miss H. Eccles; secretarytreasurer. Mr L. Barnes; council, Misses A. Allsop. D. Charters, D. Hight. E. Thomson, and Mr Empson. Graduates* Association.— Canterbury University College is endeavouring to revitalise its Graduates’ Association. It is considered that the association has an important place in the university, and it is planned to send members a news letter at least twice a year and hold meetings, discussions, and lectures from time to time.
