Game Seasons.—The dates and conditions for the open seasons for imported game and native game In certain acclimatisation districts are contained in a supplement to the Gazette published last Friday. The daily limit bags for each class of game are also listed. The open season in all districts begins on May 5, but in the Otago acclimatisation district the season for pheasants will not open until June 2. The duration of the season varies according to both the type of game and the districts.— (P.AJ
