LOST ART UNION TICKET
Sir,—The first prize in the New Year art union has been won by an unknown Ashburton resident. May I suggest, through your columns, that this money be used in a way in which it will benefit all sections of the people in the Ashburton county; that is, by handing it to the fund for the proposed centennial memorial hall to be built in the Domain? As I understand that unclaimed money is put aside for the benefit of the community, I ask you, for what more fitting purpose could it be Ashburton, April 12, 1951,
