TRAINING OF NAVAL RESERVISTS
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 15. The third group of 18-year-old compulsory na /al reservists to be trained at H.M.N.Z.S. Tamaki on Motuihi Island will complete their 14 weeks’ course this week. They will have their passing-out parade before the naval officer-in-charge at Auckland (Captain A. E. T. Christie) and will return to their homes throughout the Dominion on Wednesday.
One hundred youths have been trained in the draft, and they will be posted to the Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury and Otago divisions oi the Royal New Zealand Naval Volunteer Reserve. The fourth group of trainees will start their course of May 10.
