Legion of Frontiersmen.— The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of V Squadron of the Legion of Frontiersiren: commanding officer. Captain T. H. P. Davey; squadron adjutant. Lieutenant J. W. Kitchener; leader of No. 1 troop. Lieutenant G. E. Dickey; special contacts officer, Lieutenant N. Derrett.
Graduates in Music.—The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Union of Graduates in Music resident in Canterbury: patron, Sir James Hight; president, Dr. Vernon Griffiths; secretary. Mrs M. Clark; treasurer. Miss T. Lewin; committee, Miss C. Neale and Mr J. Ritchie.
