MEETING OF KAMO MINERS
(New Zealand Prets Association) WHANGAREI, April 13. After a four-hour meeting at Hikurangi to-day, the Kamo miners decided to stop work until the Government cancels the Emergency Regulations. On a secret ballot, voting v. i 74, tor the stoppage and 41 against. One hundred and fifteen men attended. In a statement after the meeting, the president of th® Kamo union (Mr J. R. Bullock) said: "We will be happy to resume work the moment the Government makes a move a lift the Emergency Regulations.
