FLOOD LIGHTING
Sir.—l wish to endorse “Here’s Hooing’s” suggestion that the centennial floodlighting be made permanent. It great'y enhances the beauty of this, our garden city. One of the most outstanding features of the lighting. in my opinion, has been the floodlighting of the Cathedral in the Square. There has been general appreciation throughout the province and of visiter*. Christchurch is the “Cathedral City,” so would it not be possible to have the floodlighting left?—Youra, etc, LOVER OF BEAUTY. April 13. 1951.
