RETURN OF SCONE STONE
LONDON, April 11 Thirty Scottish Nationalists early to day surrounded the Forfar police sta*tion, where the Scone Stone was taken after its recovery yesterday. Headed by Mis* Wendy Wood, leader of the Scottish Patriots* Association, they demanded to know where the stone lay, but they were too late. The police had shortly before taken it to their headquarters in Glasgow. The Glasgow police were out is force when a car carrying the stone from Forfar—9o miles north—err.veg at the city’s central police station at 4 a.m. , It is expected that the stone will shortly be brought back to London. It may come by air.
