A PROMISE KEPT.—-Mr Glenn Ford, 34-year-old Hollywood film actor, with hie mother, Mrs Newton Ford, photographed in London last week. Several years ago Mr Ford promised his mother that when he found success he would take her home to England, which she left at the age of three years in the care of foster-parents to be brought up In Canada. While in England Mrs Ford is staying with her younger sister, whom she had not previously met.
