MR H. BARNES ELECTED A VICE-PRESIDENT
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 12. Mr H. Barnes, national president of the deregistered Waterside Workers’ Unjon, has been elected a vice-presi-dent of the Victoria University College Socialist Club. Mr F. L. Combs has been elected president. Other vice-presidents elected at the annual meeting were Messrs James Bertram, James Winchester, and A. H w ' B - Sutch ’ and Mr John Platts Mills.
The dub’s working executive consists of students.
