NEW WAGE RATES FOR GREENKEEPERS
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 11. Complete agreement was reached in Conciliation Council in the hearing of the claims of greenkeepers in the Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson and Westland districts. Wages, subject to the 15 per cent, increase, will be as follows: head greenkeepers, £8 7s 6d (2s Cd increase); sole greenkeepers, £7 17s 6d (2s 6d); others, £7 17s 6d (ss); extra pay for diploma holders, 12* 6d
