AVERAGE GOAL OUTPUT
DROP OF 36,000 TONS SINCE STRIKE (New Zeaiafia I ta Association) WELLINGTON, April 10. The average weekly output of coal throughout the Dominion was 58,000 tons before the miners’ strike began, and is now 22,000 tons. These figures were given by the Mines Department to-day. The weekly output in the North Island is 8160 tons and in the South island 13,840 tons.
