ROUGH DAYLIGHT TRIP
HINEMOA HALF AN HOUR LATE
After a rough trip from Wellington kgainst a moderate south-west wind the Hinemoa arrived at Lyttelton at 6.30 p.m. yesterday, half an hottr late She brought 750 passengers and 32
cst*s. Many of the passengers were seasick, and for them, in the absence of stewards, the trip was a comfortless one. A few members of the shore staff were carried to give what help was possible, and they served morning and afternoon tea to those passengers who wanted it Carrying their own luggage, the passengers took rather longer than usual to disembark, and they appeared glad to be ashore after their rough trip. Many of them travelled south later by an express for Dunedin, which left Christchurch at 11 p.m. The Hinemoa is to leave Lyttelton for Wellington this morning on the arrival of the 7.35 a.m. steamer train from Christchurch,
