CENTENNIAL AT LYTTELTON
£260 CREDIT ON CELEBRATIONS
A credit of £260 on the whole of the Lyttelton centennial functions was reported at the final meeting of the Lyttelton Centennial (. elebrations Committee last evening. The committee agreed to grant £lOO towards the cost of producing the book. “The History of Lyttelton,’’ nd £lO to the Lyttelton Marine Band for ii.s services.
The Mayor (Mr F G. Briggs), chairman ol the committee, thanked all who worked to make the celebrations a success. In particular he praised the secretary (Mr F. E. Sutton) and the Lyttelton Harbour Board.
