MAN KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR
When he was knocked down by a motor-car at the corner of Tuam and High streets yesterday about 8 a.m., Mr J. W. Carroll, of 41 Somes street, suffered injuries to his back. He was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital. Last evening his condition was reported to be satisfactory.
