SANTA ANITA HANDICAP TO MOONRUSH
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) SAN FRANCISCO, March 3. The 100,000 dollar Santa Anita Handicap to-day was won by Moonrush', with Next Move second and Sldan thij;d. Ridden by Johnny Longden. Moonrush took the lead soon after the start, and maintained it throughout. Next Move challenged strongly in the straight, but Longden rode brilliantly, to win by a neck. The mile and a quarter was run In 2min 6sec.
