Mr Sutton’s painting, called "Homage to Frances Hodgkins,” shows grouped round "The Pleasure Garden” a number of Christchurch admirers of Miss Hodgkins’s art. From left are Mr Sutton, Mrs Doris Lusk, Mr C. McCahon, .Mr Heathcote Belmore (at back), Mrs Margaret Frankel, Mrs Beth Zanders, Mr R. S. Lonsdale, Mr A. C. Brasstagton, Mm Olivia Spencer-Bower, and Mr John Oakley. The canvas measures 19 feet across.
