Housing Loan Sought.—A decision to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for sanction of the borrowing of £6OOO to buy one and a half acres of land at Ashgrove terrace, and to build two houses for workers on that land, was made at a special meeting of the Heathcote County Council yesterday.
