OBITUARY
MR G. W. A. CLARK (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 12. One of the best known bowlers in Auckland, Mr George William Alfred Clark, of Mouht Eden, died at Waipu yesterday, aged 74. Mr Clark retired from the Post and Telegraph Department before the last war after serving in several parts of the Dominion. He was for many years a telegraph operator in Parliament Buildings. Mr Clark was well known as an umpire at Auckland centre and Dominion bowling tournaments. He was also prominent in Freemasonry.
