U.S. PLANES BOMB YALU BRIDGES
(Rec. 11 p.m.) TOKYO, November 3. Righty American Superfortresses with a total bomb load of 650 tons to-day attacked military targets at Sipuiju—where the North Korean Gpvemment has taken refuge—including the Korean side spans of both the double-tracked railway bridges crossing the Yalu river between Sinui--3u and Antung. 'This is the first time the American Air Force has attacked the internauonal Yalu river bridges. Included in the total bomb load were 80 half-ton bombs which 10 of. the Superfortresses were to drop on the Korean end of both bridges. The raid was intended to cripple warm weather communications between Manchuria and Korea. The Y «u normally freezes early in Deccmber. with ice thick enough to take Military traffic. SIAMESE TROOPS IN KOREA SEOUL, November 7. Twelve hundred Siamese infantry of {he 21st Rifle Regiment filed ashore at Fusan South Korea, to-day from Siamese warships and a chartered Danish E°°P carrier. An advance party of 43 Siamese has been at Taegu since the “uudle of October.
