EASTERN BERLIN GETS THE NEWS.—The large electric news sign which has been erected in Berlin’s Potsdamer Platz just inside the British sector and facing the Russian sector. The sign bears the heading, “The Free Berlin Press Reports," and is designed to overcome the jamming of news broadcasts from the west News items in big illuminated letters are flashed on the sign almost continuously. The authorities in the Russian sector are now building an equally high similar structure facing west.
