VICE-REGAL
Yesterday their Excellencies the Governor-General and Lady Freyberg were present at the N.Z. Metropolitan Trotting Club's New Zealand Cup day meeting at Addington. In the evening their Excellencies attended the concert given by the National Orchestra at the Civic Theatre.
Archbishop Duhig, of Brisbane, will leave by air on November 13 to attend the centennial celebrations of the province of Canterbury. During his nine-day visit the Archbishop will visit Roman Catholic institutions and colleges throughout both islands.— Brisbane, November 7.
