“GLOBE OF DEATH”
Mr Vince Labb brought to this country at great expense the steel “Globe of Death." which will be presented for the first time at the Royal A. and P. Show. The "Daredevil Barcolas” give an exhibition of stunt .riding with motor-cycles and midget car that has to .be seen to be believed. In their sensational “Double Loop of Death" these riders really take their lives in their hands. While one circles the side of the globe, the other rider loops the loop directly in his path. This calls for split-second timing. A slight error by either rider could result in a serious accident. The crowning feature of this attraction is when Daredevil Barcola is strapped into a midget racing car and loops at terrific speed right over the top of the steel globe. Will also be seen at Oamaru Show and Waimate Show. * AdvL
