UNIONISTS PICKET BARBERS’ SHOPS SYDNEY, Nov. L Broken Hill unionists are making war on rising prices. The Barrier Industrial Council of Trad* Unions, which practically runs the city, ha* decided to fine £5 any unionist who patronises hairdressers charging th* increased price of 2s 9d for men’s hair, cuts. AU but four barbers' shops ar* being picketed. Another aecision of the council Is likely to close all Broken Hill picture theatres. They have been placed out of bounds to unionists and employees have been withdrawn because price* have been increased.
