GAILWORTHY WINS MAIN HANDICAP
(New Zealand Press Association) WANGANUI, October 15. The Wanganui Trotting Club’s meeting concluded on Saturday in ideal weather before a fair attendance. The track was fast. The totalisator handled £22,781, in-1 eluding £1424 10s on the double, compared with £22,315 10s last year, making' an aggregate tor the meeting of £46,097,1 against £45,166 last year. i Only two 10s tickets were reinvested on Josedale’s Son, the winner of the second leg of the double, and the dividend was £llB4 2s 6d for £l. After the Stewards’ Handicap, a long inquiry was held into interference by Sandy Gaillard to Undus and Highlander, and as a result it was decided to disqualify Sandy Gaillard, who had finished second, and place Indus second. Highlander third, and Highbred fourth. N.
