BUILDING INDUSTRY PROBLEMS
“ VERY SERIOUS ” LACK OF LABOUR (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 18. “The. building industry is very ,sez*i-. ously hampered by an unprecedented shortage of labour and more so by a lack of competent and skilled craftsmen,” said Mr C. Parsons, D. I. M. Nielsen, L. A. Potts, S. J. Stewart, and H. Weetman (treasurer). Mr F. C*. Dewhurst was elected secretary.
