RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF LAUNDERERS
CONVENTION CONTINUED The annual convention of the New Zealand Research Institute of Laundereis, Dry-cleaners, and Dyers was continued in Christchurch vesterday, when lectures by four members were heard. The lecture subjects were: “Cleaning Room Practice ’ (Mr J. A. Higgs), “Dyeing of To-day’s Fabrics”' (Mr H. Halliaay), “Washing Processes” and “Solvents, Soaps and Dry-cleaning Aids’’ (Mr P. C. Coates), and “The Customer is Always R:ght” (Dr. L. F. Story). In the morning delegates visited the North Canterbury Hospital Board’s laundry. A quiz session was held in the evening. The convention will end to-day.
