(Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON. Sept. 6. All efforts to arrange a settlement’of the London printing dispute have broken down and it is probable that weekly newspapers in the London area will again encounter considerable difficulties in publishing this week.

The employers offered to withdraw the dismissals of members of the London Society of Compositors even without the withdrawal of the ban of overtime, providing that the men would agree to drop4restrictive working practices.
