Welcome At Dockside
A Korean band and choir went to the dockside to welcome the troops with the British National Anthem, “The Stars and Stripes for Ever.” and a specially-written song, called “Welcome, United Nations Troops, to Korea.” General MacArthur, in a statement en the arrival of the British troops,
have ®Jways had a sense of security when British soldiers were at 4i? s 1 k ?, ow from lon S experience they will never fail me. These troops will add further lustre to the great traditions of the P ast . and I am proud to have them in this United Nations command. May a merciful God be with them in the trying days ahead.”
