PROGRAMME FOR YARDS AT WISMAR

(Rec. 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 19. The Berlin correspondent of the British United Press says that East Germany is to build at least 34 vettela at Wismar, on the Baltic, during the next five years. The German Communist leader, Mr Walter Ulbricht, announced this at Wismar last night, when he addressed 60.000 shipbuilding workers. Mr Ulbricht said the East German merchant marine would at first consist of five freighters of 3000 tons each, nine freighters of 1000 tons each, and 20 fishing boats. Additional vessels would be built at other ports.
