N.Z. BOWLING TITLES
TOURNEY AT WELLINGTON IN FEBRUARY (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 28. The 1951 New Zealand bowling championships will open in Wellington on February 5, with the singles. This was decided at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Bowling Association to-day. On February 7, the pairs will start, and on February 12 the fours. Mr W. F. Hadwin (Wellington) was installed as new president. Other officers elected were:—representatives of the New Zealand Olympic Association and the New Zealand Council of Sport, Messrs Hadwin, M. J. Casey, and F. G. Hazlewood (all of Welling Ion); 1951 tournament secretary, Mr F. C. Dowhurst (Wellington).
